Lead Search Group is a Toronto based executive search and recruitment firm built on a simple belief: the best hiring decisions happen when you understand the people behind the resumes and the organizations behind the job descriptions.
Recruitment Was Always About the Relationship.
Before founding Lead Search Group, Magdalena Duleba-Lapensee spent years working within traditional recruitment agencies. She loved recruitment, but increasingly found herself questioning the way the business was being done.
Clients could become sales targets. Conversations became activities. Success could feel increasingly focused on the next transaction instead of the strength of the relationship.
That wasn't how Magdalena had built her career.
Her success had always come from getting to know people. Understanding a client's business beyond the job description. Learning what made a candidate successful, what motivated them and what they wanted next. Building relationships that lasted beyond a single search or placement.
She believed clients and candidates deserved that kind of recruitment experience.
So in 2015, she founded Lead Search Group.
The next day, she had her first search.
More than a decade later, Lead Search Group is still built around the same idea: take the time to understand the story, and you have a much better chance of finding the right person.
